Frame Mount |

Frame mount systems describe how the system is attached in relation to the building or ground. Most frame mount systems are not part of the building but are mounted on top of or to the roof, landscape or wall, whatever location is chosen. Benefits: More energy per square foot. Shortcomings: Many penetrations in roof or the building which will shorten the life of the roof and/or building adding to the cost of maintenance. This cost can be of set by increase in value. Usually does not blend in well with the architecture or landscape. |
